The committee is made up of a diverse group, each with their own skill set, however diverse they are, they share a common goal of running a successful, fun, happy and supportive club, with the members best interests being at the forefront.

The Committee members are here to help, so please don’t hesitate to contact them if you require any assistance.  As well as the committee members, your coaches or managers can also assist you with any questions or queries. The committee would like to thank our volunteer coaches and managers whose time and effort is very much appreciated.

Darrell is currently our Vice President and has been involved with Springwood Seals for 13 years. During this time, Darrell has been the wearer of many hats for Springwood Seals and has also fulfilled multiple positions including President, Umpire Convenor, Coach, Head Coach and Manager. He has also been with the Underwood Park Netball Association (UPNA) committee under various roles.
Alongside his role as VP this season, Darrell also coaches one of our cadet teams and this year stepped up to co-coach UPNA’s 13 White team and supports all of our coaches across 10 teams, ranging from Netta (ages 7-10 years old) to cadet (ages 11-17 years old).

Darrell is extremely passionate about his role and proud to be a part of Springwood Seals. He has played an integral role in developing a strong community atmosphere for all involved in our club and is excited to see the growth and achievements of the club this coming season.

 Treasurer - Beth Flower

This year is Beth's 11th year with Seals and during this time, she has been apart of the committee in various ways - 6 years as Secretary and the past 5 years as Treasurer.
Many of Beth's executive roles encompass other club operational roles such as Umpire Convenor, Registrar, Uniform Coordinator, Team Manager and Coach.

Beth enjoys supporting the club for many reasons; the development of club by-laws and regulations for future growth, designing the website and supporting the committee, players, parents and other volunteers.
The friendships Beth has made and the challenges that the committee has overcome together as a team make it all worthwhile for Beth.

We are extremely lucky to have Beth's knowledge and experience at our club.

Sam and her daughter thoroughly enjoy being a part of Springwood Seals as they have met and become good friends with lots of different people, making it feel like being part of a family.

Sam continues to support our club as she appreciates how we enable young girls to make new friends, stay fit and active and grow as players. Having the opportunity to support in a managing capacity, Sam is thankful for the opportunity to bond with her daughter through the game and a common love of netball.
Both Sam and her daughter are keen for another year with Springwood Seals and hopefully many more.
